This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Scania 770 S 8x4/4, a double front-axle steering, double rear-axle drive eight-wheel heavy trailer head equipped with a 16.4-liter V8 turbo engine capable of 770hp, added in 2020 to the Swedish manufacturer Scania's top-grade S Series. The model has a highly realistic cab which - along with the side deflectors, roof, bumper and other parts - is pre-painted in gun metal color. Inside the cab is an interior with rounded dashboard and other details. Its chassis features a ladder frame with aluminum side channels, and power is delivered to the two rear axles via a 3-speed transmission, while the two front axles are steered by a single servo; the second axle is a lift axle which can be manually raised and lowered.

Realistic Lights, Sounds, and Vibration

Engine sounds have been digitally recorded from an actual truck, and together with air horn, gear shifting, and many other realistic sounds, give you the feeling that you are driving the real thing! Semi-Trailers Separately Available
Various types including semi-trailer, tank-trailer, and pole-trailer, are currently available. Attach any one of them via the coupler on the model to create an exciting combination over a meter in length.

The impressive cab and other parts are pre-painted in gun metal color, then given a urethane top coat.

The stylish front of the model features a grille bar and a low bar, with metal transfers for the emblems.

A roof bar, light pods and warning light on the roof make for a really impressive finish.

Take a closer look at the kerb mirror, which of course is modelled accurately on that of the full size truck.

These are the metal-plated recreations of the cab steps.

The back of the cab has a tower rack with depictions of fuel tank, air tanks, stowage cases and more.

Fenders and mud flaps give an extra accent on the rear. Lights can be lit up using separately sold LEDs.

One servo is used to steer both the front axles, with the model recreating the slight difference in angle between them.

Trunnion design rear suspension is like that on a real truck, and employs plastic axles and metal leaf springs.

Dual tires are used at the rear, and of course feature realistic tread.

The battery pack is installed inside the tower rack behind the cab. Side panels are held in place by magnets.
